CHLOE MACKENZIE

Chloe did her pilates course nearly 10 years ago now and has been in love with pilates and moving her body ever since. she began her pilates journey on the reformer after working with a physio for lower back pain and a hip injury from running. since then she has made her way to the mat after years of teaching reformer while completing her physio degree.

chloe’s love for the mat started during the covid pandemic where she realised that mat work is so damn accessible and soooo much fun. she loves that you can bring your own flare to every class and every movement can be modified for every body.

being able to combine her love and passion for pilates with her love for travel (and bali!!) is an absolute dream.

Chloe’s favourite part of the retreats is sharing her passion for movement with likeminded individuals and creating meaningful and lasting friendships with people from all around australia (and hopefully the world soon!!).

FUN FACT: Chloe used to do ironman

our girl aisling moved over to australia and found so many new ways to exercise and move her body. pilates was the one that stuck. AFTER ARRIVING IN AUSTRALIA, she moved around quite a lot and pilates haD always been the constant.

once she decided to settle in perth aisling decided to go all in and study her pilates teacher training. doing the training made her fall more in love with pilates and moving her body. fast forward and she has been teaching for two years as her full time job.

aisling loves the ability to be apart of the pilates community which has honestly been like a family for her. she has been able to make life long friends and for that she will forever be grateful. (teaching spicy classes is just a bonus!!).

her favourite part about the retreat is the fact everyone becomes so close, creating lifelong friends and also just the fact we are in bali!!!

fun fact about aisling: she has a degree in biopharmaceutical science.

SHANE GILLHAM

AFTER MOVING BACK TO AUSTRALIA POST COVID SHANE HAD JUST HAD HIS 9TH SURGERY. HALFWAY THROUGH REHAB UPON RETURNING TO AUSTRALIA HE FOUND HIMSELF DOING PILATES AT HIS LOCAL GYM. EVER SINCE HE WAS YOUNG SHANE WAS STRONG IN HIS COMPOUND LIFTING MOVEMENTS BUT FOUND DURING PILATES HE STRUGGLED TO DO JUST SIMPLE BODY WEIGHT EXERCISES.

SHANE FOUND HE LOVED THAT EVERY TEACHER AND EVERY CLASS WAS DIFFERENT AND ALSO CHALLENGING IN VARIOUS AREAS.

HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN PASSIONATE ABOUT INFLUENCING PEOPLE’S HEALTH AND LOVES THE ABILITY TO CONNECT WITH LIKE-MINDED PEOPLE WHO ARE WANTING TO IMPROVE AND MOVE THEIR BODIES.

WHAT HE LOVES MOST ABOUT WHAT HE IS TRYING TO CREATE AT FORM IS A PLACE THAT FEELS LIKE HOME AND WHERE EVERYONE IS WELCOME.

BEING ABLE TO CREATE AN EXPERIENCE THAT FEELS LIKE A DREAM HOLIDAY ESCAPE, AND BEING ABLE TO PACKAGE EVERYTHING TOGETHER. BY CREATING VALUE, BALANCE MEMORIES AND HOPEFULLY EXPERIENCES WHICH CAN TRANSITION INTO EVERYONE’S DAILY ROUTINES. BEING ABLE TO MEET LIKEMINDED PEOPLE STEPPING OUT OF THEIR COMFORT ZONE AND SHARE/CONNECT EXPERIENCES WITH OTHERS IS HIS FAVOURITE PART OF THE RETREATS.

FUN FACT: SHANE LIVED IN 3 COUNTRIES AND COULD SPEAK ALL THE LANGUAGES FLUENT AT ONE POINT IN TIME (BIT ROUGH NOW).
